My mount is 53 inches long,and is designed for ametek style 4 inch .or any size motor up to 6 inch OD
It has 3/4 inch steel square tubing, with 16 guage steel plate tail
the pivot is 1/8 wall, has been bored on a lathe for smooth pivoting.to slip over 1 1/4 steel pipe,
The tail PIVOT is pined on at certain degree to turn the blades away from the wind. and then return to normal when the wind force against the blades slow down to a safer rpm..
lock collars are included.
Ive built these for demonstrations and they work very well..
the tail is 2 piece in case you need it to furl faster..just remove 1/2 of the vane
ATTENTION, This is not a 30 inch toy, that you put plastic blades on and hope stays together.Most small mounts are for yard ornaments. and are not stable enough for producing any amount of power
