Vintage Wonder Rope Maker & Tool

Description
Up for auction fresh from a local estate is a vintage Wonder Rope Maker and rope making tool. Measures 12"T X 11"W X 9"D including the handle. The cast iron frame is free of cracks or breaks. Runs properly but could do with some lubrication as it has sat idle for a while. Comes with the tool pictured to assist in making the rope. Please email any questions. A great addition to your collection. Happy to combine where feasable.

VERY LARGE WOOD CABINET, 84 DRAWERS GREAT FOR STORAGE, 7 DRAWERS WIDE 12 DRAWERS HIGH

This cabinet has been in our family garage for 50 years. It was purchased by my father from a Los Angeles CA. Tire factory from the millwright shop, sometime in the 1950's . It has been used to store everything, tools, cabinet hardware, nuts and bolts etc. The drawers size is approx. 13" depth - 8 1/2" width - 4 1/4" high. The cabinet is approx. 9' 5" wide X 5' high. The drawer's are solid clear pine and the drawer bottoms fir. The unique handles are wood and all drawers are in very good condition. It is complete with all original drawers and handles.

I would guess this cabinet was built anywhere from the teen's to the 1940's based on the style of the handles and the history of the tire industry in California. This cabinet is very well made and I recently moved it to a storage unit and it is still very solid. This was professionally made judging from the fine Jointery construction. The drawers are half lapped on the front and box joint on the back. It would be very costly to duplicate a cabinet like this today.

This cabinet is located in Southern California (Lakeside) and will need to be picked up there. Arrangements for Pickup and transport will be the responsibility of the buyer. Arranged for removal must be made in advance with seller. The cabinet was made in 2 pieces and was easily moved that way, 1 section was approx. 45" wide the other 63" wide (5 drawers and 7 drawers wide ) This could easily be shipped anywhere ! Shipping size's would be 45"Wx60"H and 63"Wx60"H I am currently selling the 2 sections separately this listing is for only 1 cabinet the largest one 63"W X 60"H Hopefully this will be affordable for all interested bidders.

Vintage carpenter's drop-front tool box with a sliding
full-length pull-out tray on top, brackets for
handsaws inside the drop-front. 32" L X 16" W X 7" H

Unfortunately I have no history on this tool box. My parents purchased it in an auction some years back.

Includes all tools shown, including two hand-saws, steel level, boring bits, drill bits, plane, angle finder, assorted tools and parts.

This is a metal sheathed plywood tool box with metal reinforcements on joints and corners.

Not shown is the bottom of the box which has some rust. I can provide additional pics upon request.
