Up for auction is my UNIMAT SL lathe. I inherited this from my father 5 years ago. He bought this new 30+ years ago. This lathe motor cant have more than one hours use. He never turned anything on it that I know of. There is not a scratch on the green painted parts. This lathe is like new, other than some surface rust on the bare metal parts.{ from sitting in its case in the basement 30+ years} It could probably use some lubrication after sitting that long. The wooden case has a chip about the size of a dime from being moved around over the years. The two manuals that came with it have the pages stuck together from sitting underneath it all this time. When I took the photos I plugged it in and ran it 10 minutes. Ran fine. It has never been unbolted from the shipping board. There is a 4 jaw chuck and a milling table along with a mini vice. All have never seen use. There also is a box of small parts and bits. These are shown in photos.{I dont know what everything is} There is also a old micrometer that says Germany on it. It looks to me like all factory parts are there, but if it is not in the photo, its not included. Because of the age this is sold as is- NO RETURNS- It will run when you get it - Thats all I guaranty. Dad never learned how to use this-Hopefully someone can use it for its intended purpose.
